About Ed
Ed Tseng is a USPTA-certified tennis pro with a Marketing/Professional Tennis Management degree from Ferris State University.  In 1994, Tseng began teaching with Colleen Cosgrove and Judy Vogt (Princeton Racquet Club/Tennis Network) who were Vice President and President of the USTA/NJD at the time.  During this time, Mr. Tseng has been Summer Camp Director, USTA Tournament Director, Junior League Director, teaching pro, stringer, photographer and front desk worker.  He has worked with all ages and levels from 3-83 and entry level beginners to players on the pro tour (Nicole Arendt WTA #3 in the world doubles, #49 singles ranking, Wimbledon finalist).  Ed has also been working closely for several years with the Special Olympics.  He has also begun working with the special needs community in the area combining tennis programs and social events. Mr. Tseng has represented the Princeton Racquet Club and the United States by being a Visiting Tennis Pro in Jamaica on two occasions.  He was Head Pro at Cherry Valley Country Club in 1999. The USTA/NJD named Ed Tseng "Pro of the Year" for 2005. Mr. Tseng is not only a tennis pro, but Life Coach, Motivational Speaker and Peak Performance Expert, and Author.

Ed is proud to present the Tseng Program which is already being used by many tennis players, business people and students with much success.  Mr. Tseng considers himself, not a tennis coach, but a "life coach." Most of his tennis students will not become professional tennis players, so by teaching life lessons through tennis, Ed can enrich people's lives by showing how tennis and life are related.  That is why the Tseng Academy of Mental Training for Sports & Life was formed.

Ed is an avid Yankees fan and has a Boston Terrier named Babe Buckner.  He is also a photographer whose work (www.edphotos.com) has been displayed at many area restaurants and has donated works to "A Show of Hands" (MANNA) benefit in Philadelphia, providing nutritional support and education to persons living with HIV/AIDS.  In his spare time, Ed enjoys working out, reading and good food/wine.  Ed Tseng currently resides in Lawrenceville, NJ.

Ed uses a Babolat AeroPro+ racquet with Luxilon Big Banger TiMo (18g)/ Synthetic gut (16g) strings at 60 lbs.
